The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida, seeks public input and participation. However, the public purpose is not served when citizens become disorderly or disrupt the meeting. Accordingly, the Chair may order the removal from any School Board meeting of any person interfering with the expeditious or orderly process of the meeting provided the Chair has first issued a warning that continued interference with the orderly processes of the meeting will result in removal. Any law enforcement authority or a sergeant-at-arms designated by Chair shall remove any person ordered removed pursuant to this section §1001.372 (3), Fla.Stat. |

October 19, 2009 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the School Board Administration Building, 1450 N.E. 2nd Avenue, Miami, Florida 33132, the School Board will have an attorney-client session to discuss the following pending cases: Adonay Rosete. Personal Representative of Estate of Ashley Nicole Valdes v. School Board of Miami-Dade County. Florida, Circuit Court Case No. 09-59199 CA 02; and Herbert Cousins v. School Board of Miami-Dade County, Dr. Rudolph Crew. Joseph Garcia. Post-Newsweek Stations Florida. Inc .. d/b/a WPLG-Channel 10. and Jilda Unruh, Circuit Court Case No. 07-06404 CA 30. The open segment of the meeting will be held in Conference Room 726, and the attorneY-Client session will be held in Conference Room 559. The persons attending this meeting will be School Board members, Dr. Solomon C. Stinson, Chair, Dr. Marta Perez, Vice-Chair, Mr. Agustin J. Barrera, Mr. Renier Diaz de la Portilla, Dr. Lawrence S. Feldman, Ms. Perla Tabares Hantman, Dr. Wilbert ''Tee'' Holloway, Dr. Martin Karp, Ms. Ana Rivas Logan; Superintendent of Schools, Alberto M. Carvalho; attorneys representing the School Board, Mr. Walter J. Harvey, School Board Attorney, Mr. Luis M. Garcia, Mr. Jorge A. Lopez, Mr. Reginald Clyne, Mr. John McClure, Mr. Jeffrey Mowers, and Mr. Greg Durden. It is anticipated that this meeting will take approximately two (2) hours. This meeting will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of section 286.011, Fla. Stat.
